Nike's iconic Shox sneakers need no introduction as one of the brand's most high-tech designs complete with visible impact-absorption technology. But as the old saying goes, there's always room for improvement.

But how does Nike make its already-great Shox sneakers even better? Make them all-leather.

All-leather Shox?! Absolutely. Particularly, Nike's Shox Ride 2 model gets the latest premium leather update, resulting in this very tasteful, vintage-style takeover using the creamy material.

Aged black leather completely covers the Shox's upper, joined by some golden tan outlines that add a beautiful "distressed" element to the sneakers.

Nike's all-leather Shox Ride 2 Premium sneaker is expected to be released sometime during the spring season. It may feel like a long wait for the tasty leather pairs (winter has yet to begin!). But hey, good things take time. Another classic phrase proven true with Nike's latest shoes.

Nike's leather reinventions have taken many of its classics to another stylish level. The Nike's weirdly charming Air Rift came back from the grave with a full leather makeover. Before that, the retro Killshot 2 slipped into its best Travis Scott "Phantom" costume long before spooky season.

And let's not forget those "sunset" Air Force 1 Lows, who, like the Shox Ride 2, came aged to perfection.

What more can I say? Leather Nike classics just — as the internet folk might say — hit different.
