The Nike ST Charge Wheat seamlessly blends classic East Coast boot culture into a technical court performer. We’re talking Timbs for the court. Draped in the unmistakable Wheat palette, the design borrows the utility of winter work boots and translates it onto a high-performance frame. 

A tonal Wheat upper sets an autumnal tone, broken up by contrasting Off-Noir black accents along the tongue and lining, with subtle Metallic Gold Swoosh hits.

Breathable mesh forms the base of the upper, but it’s not standard mesh. This tightly woven structure is super hard-wearing in comparison to normal performance mesh and it’s encased in a heavy-duty molded TPU frame wrap that features angular cutouts to give flexibility in all directions. 

Deep orange hits to the insoles continue the autumnal vibe, while subtle touches of pink to the heel tab and tongue branding provide a softer angle to the color palette. One of the best details lives underneath, though. 

The sole unit is built to take on tough terrains like gravel and concrete, so it might not live for very long, but flip the shoe over for a fully transparent outsole that’s an unexpected departure from the aesthetic of this armored silhouette.
