When Nike unveils an all-new sneaker, I almost instantly say, "well, there goes groceries this week." The brand houses some of the most iconic and innovative sneaker models of all time, which, admittedly, don't always come cheap. But that's not the case with Nike's latest shoe at all. In fact, the newest Swoosh shoe will cost you less than 100 bucks. Well, at least, before the tax and shipping fees kick in.

Nike has unveiled a new running-style sneaker known as the V5 RNR. In early looks, the shoe offers up the familiar early 2000s "dad shoe" look, featuring metallic overlays, breezy materials elsewhere, and a nice chunk-ful sole.

Some fans compared the V5 RNR to ASICS' dadcore performance shoes, specifically the GEL-1130 sneakers. On the other hand, I instantly picked up Nike Vomero vibes with a splash of P-6000 and V2K Run.

What's even more intriguing about the V5 RNR is its price tag. These all-new Nikes will reportedly retail for just $90 next year. Even more shocking, these ain't the only inexpensive Nike sneakers coming out in 2025.

Nike's V5 RNR sneaker joins a string of other recent Nikes with shockingly affordable price tags. Earlier this year, we met the Nike Uplift SC, the so-called "Air Max Dn successor," priced at a surprising $65. Yeah, you read that right.

Alongside the V5 RNR, Nike has also revealed a new Pacific sneaker, which looks like a cross between the Cortez and LD 1000 classics. Its retail price? Just $75.

They say it costs to look good (according to Beyoncé's Renaissance song, it should cost a billion to look "this good.") But not for Nike. The brand is giving fans reasonably-priced, on-trend sneakers in the new year, which look just as good as its best-selling shoes selling for $100-plus.

Hey, as long as the quality and comfort are on point with the V5 RNR, I'm all here for looking good at a good price. I suspect other Nike fans will share the same sentiment.
