Double Tap to Zoom

On has never been that brand that’s just about making another shoe. Instead, they’ve gone and redefined what performance design can be… and it’s so much more than a pair of sneakers you wear to the gym. It’s a reminder that the best kind of movement isn’t just about hitting a faster pace, but about moving toward something.

Sky High Farm Goods (SHFG), is a New York-based, mission-driven  brand that is all about making a real difference in the food system. Across fashion, food and beauty products that prioritize planetary-health, the company harnesses the power of culture to generate revenue and advocacy for nonprofit Sky High Farm’s food equity mission — proof that capitalism can be harnessed to a greater end To date they’ve raised donations totaling $1.5M for this work by galvanizing brands as varied as Balenciaga, Comme des Garcons, Levi’s, Erewhon and now On, to participation. It’s a pretty wild model and one that speaks to their core belief: that we can all actively consume with the goal of building pathways to food sovereignty, and restoring the earth in the process.

On, On

In October 2025, On and Sky High Farm Goods dropped their debut FW25 collection, and it’s everything you’d expect from a collab that’s as much about spirit as it is about style. Ryan McGinley, a long-time friend of Sky High Farm, stepped behind the camera to capture the essence of the partnership (and you might see his face in some of the hero campaign shots too). If you’re familiar with McGinley’s work, you know he’s all about youth, energy, and a deep, unfiltered connection to the land. His documentary book The Farmers, which came alongside the collection, is a true reflection of the beauty of the farm, the people behind it, and the incredible synergy between On and SHFG. It’s a celebration of both the land and the tight-knit community working to preserve it.

Fast-forward to SS26, and the collaboration is coming back even stronger. The latest collection is all about the wildflower (and if you know as little about them as I did before this collection, here’s a quick rundown). Without this colorful flora, our planet’s biodiversity would take a massive hit. Therefore, the wildflower has become the symbol of everything SHFG and On stand for: working with nature, not against it. Forget Big Agriculture and all its destructive ways: this is about embracing the untamed beauty of the Earth and letting it run wild. Ron Finley’s Gangster Garden, a re-wilded swimming pool in South Central Los Angeles, built to empower communities with the knowledge that comes from growing your own food, provides the ultimate backdrop, alongside a cast from the brand’s community – including musician Raphaelle, models Andreea Diaconu, Indira Scott and Ruben De Melo Moreira, and Ron Finley himself – for a partnership rooted in food equity awareness.

The SS26 collection brings bright and earthy tones that reflect the natural world. Designed with the daily demands of the outdoors in mind, it’s all about added grip, sun protection, and grounded comfort. From shoes to socks, shorts, hats and tees, it’s as practical as it is vibrant. It’s a collection that feels alive, one that speaks to the wanderers, the nature-lovers, and anyone who’s ready to reconnect with what’s real.

To keep this approach going, On and SHFG are sending out Seeding Boxes designed to take the farm-to-city story even further. The limited-edition box, created for the launch to underline the message (but is not for sale), is packed with products from the SS26 collection, of course, but also made from organic, biodegradable material embedded with wildflower seeds. In true On x SHFG fashion, the Seeding Boxes are less about the object and more about the idea behind it. Pairing pieces from the collection with a simple, symbolic act of giving back to the earth, they’re designed to be planted and left to grow, a reminder of SHFG’s mission to work with nature and let real change take root.

On, On

Nature gives us so much, and it’s time to give back. On and SHFG are making sure that, every time you put on your sneakers, you’re part of the movement toward a more sustainable, more connected world.
