To coincide with its new Converse 70 collaboration, Pigalle has teamed up with Nike for another basketball court, this time in Beijing. Much like the previous court in Paris, this one features bright colors in beautiful gradients that are just begging to be posted on IG. The sustainability crowd will be happy to learn the court and its surrounding space were made of 45,000 recycled tennis shoes.

"Our court in Paris birthed a community," says Pigalle founder Stéphane Ashpool. "We transformed a parking lot into a place that has fostered a family and inspired people. All the subtle details that can make this magic happen were united. It was the best learning for me, and now it’s the right time to work in expending this scheme, staying organic, authentic and focused."

The space also includes sneaker necklace and sustainability workshops. Throughout the year, the court will also be used for female-focused efforts, including organizing with the city's high school basketball league and local community groups.
