Double Tap to Zoom

Spanish retailers Pull&Bear pulled out all the stops for the relaunch of its SICKO19 line, collaborating with Reggaeton major player Lunay. The Puerto Rican artists stock is rapidly rising and his apartment is already chock full of a slew of 'new and breakout' artist awards. Knocking on the 9million follower's door on Instagram the artist is sure to rack up some extra fans to the brand on his name alone.

This first drop in the SICKO19 line will feature specific items personally designed by Lunay to sit alongside their own, authentically and cleverly using his stylistic vision to elevate the collection. Very much a reflection of Lunay's personal taste his pieces mix motocross inspired flair, with attention-grabbing all over-prints and 90's inspired tie-dye pieces with mesh and cotton fabric experimentations that touch on his love for basketball.

The collection features some very very flex worthy outerwear. Loud, fun and with some clear anime-inspired fits coming through. Stand out pieces include the two-piece floral embroidered puffer and pants, and the silver down jacket straight out of the Missy Elliot The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) video. SICKO19's subtle references to 90's hip-hop, anime, basketball and motocross really set the standard for what Pull&Bear has up its sleeve next for their future collections.

No strangers to working with new artists and touching on club street culture influences in their collections Pull&Bear have promised much more to come throughout the season.

Check the galleries above to see the collection and watch Lunay's new video for the track 'Victoria' which features a few of the pieces. The first drop of the SICKO19 Collection is available for presale and available to sign up via the brand's app and in their IG stories and is available to buy from tomorrow (19th September) at www.pullandbear.com.
