As fans continue to eagerly wish for Rihanna's long-awaited follow up Anti, the singer hits everyone with a curve ball announcing an unexpected self-titled book. Published by esteemed art publisher Phaeton, the visual autobiography is 504-pages long and incorporates over 1,000 photos of the star.

“I am so excited to share this collection of incredible images,” Rihanna said in a statement. “I’m very grateful to the talented photographers and artists who contributed. We’ve been working on the book for over five years and I’m really happy to be able to finally share it with everybody.”

The book will give a more behind-the-scenes look into RiRi life from her childhood in Barbados to her worldwide tours, from quintessential fashion moments to private time with friends and family. The book showcases intimate photographs of her life as a musician, performer, designer, and entrepreneur.

Three versions of the book, including an “Ultra Luxury Supreme” version called Stoner, which comes with a 2,000 pound marble pedestal will be available. So far, only ten were made and Cardi B owns one. She bid on one at Rihanna’s Diamond Ball and won for a $111,000.

Alongside the announcement, Rihanna and Phaidon are hosting a ticketed book party on Friday, October 11, at New York’s Guggenheim Museum. Watch the trailer for the book below.
