Get ready to live in a world where Samuel L. Jackson will be delivering news and weather updates to you every morning. Amazon has announced a major update to its Alexa device featuring the movie star's voice integrated as an alternative voice option.

Using neural text-to-speech software, Amazon is able mimic real human voices, including celebrities. The new tech is unlike other celebrity voice integrations softwares as it doesn't rely on prerecorded phases instead deep learning techniques to make Alexa sound more like a real human being.

To make the Jackson experience more authentic, Amazon will offer both explicit and clean versions of Jackson’s voice, and launch later this year for a “special price” of $0.99 for anyone who purchases it in 2019 (after which it’ll cost $4.99).

Amazon is also promising that more celebrities will arrive next year.
