It’s that time of year again when the pace of NYFW is relentless. Call times begin at dawn. Garment bags sweep through the city, and steam rises backstage as stylists make last-minute adjustments. Across Manhattan, from Tribeca to Midtown, one constant keeps the week moving: coffee. And who better to provide a helping hand than Starbucks?

Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety

Long before the first model steps onto a runway, baristas are whipping up espresso shots for assistants reviewing run of show notes and editors filing early copy. Starbucks is a behind-the-scenes fixture that helps ensure fashion week runs smoothly, so creating a moment of pause and connection felt especially fitting. At its Tribeca coffeehouse on West Broadway, a morning rave soundtracked by LP Giobbi created a welcome reset for New York’s creative circle, offering space to step away from the frenzy and reconnect with one another.

The downtown crowd arrived dressed for the occasion in decadent furs, sequined tops, and sharply styled ensembles that shimmered beneath the warm glow, while a curated spread of favorites anchored the experience. Signature Cold Brew and Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers circulated alongside pistachio chocolate loaves and pink cake pops. Guests, including Zanna Roberts Rassi, co-founder of Milk Makeup, attended with her daughter Rumi, alongside models Faith Lynch and Aaliyah Buford. Influencers and creatives like Winta Zesu and Robby Peterson moved through the space with cups in hand, documenting the scene between bites and sips and capturing a moment that felt distinctly of the city and its surrounding culture.

At the center of the coffeehouse, a DJ booth positioned between the cash registers brewed the beat for the morning. As LP Giobbi delivered an electrifying hour-long set, the crowd gathered closely, dancing shoulder to shoulder. The energy swelled and carried out onto surrounding streets and avenues, lifting spirits before the day’s obligations began. Even those who skipped espressos left feeling revived by the collective pulse of the room.

Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety

And the momentum didn’t stop there. Extending well beyond the morning soiree, Starbucks found itself backstage with fashion week mainstays, including AREA, Collina Strada, and Sergio Hudson, among others—fueling the teams that make each show appear effortless. From designers and assistants to models and production crews, the coffee curator offered a quiet constant, keeping the engine running cup by cup. Amid the intensity that defines fashion’s biggest stage, Starbucks offered a rare moment of pause and reset, while still powering every call time, fitting, and final walk.
