Following its official global launch in July 2026, the Zegama Hike represents a new chapter in the life of one of Nike’s most popular running shoes. The silhouette takes the lightweight DNA of the Nike Zegama trail running line and mutates it into a rugged, mid-cut performance boot built for alpine excursions.

A stealthy, tonal Black/Anthracite palette offers an aggressive, weather-ready anchor that transitions from mountain climbs to urban life, embodying Nike ACG’s ability to straddle the two worlds.

The shoe's upper is built from lightweight, breathable textile panels engineered to wick moisture while resisting harsh trail abrasions. Reinforced TPU overlays wrap the toe box and heel counter for maximum impact protection against rocks, while a soft ankle gaiter seals the collar to keep dirt out.

Underfoot, the Zegama Hike houses a dual-density stacked midsole: super-responsive ZoomX foam sits directly beneath the foot for maximum energy return, encapsulated by a firmer, protective foam outer frame for lateral stability on uneven terrain. 

Rounding out the tank-like construction is a wide-base Vibram® MegaGrip outsole featuring 5mm reversed Traction Lugs for unshakeable grip across wet, muddy, or loose gravel surfaces. All in all, it’s this kind of design that ensures Nike is still earning the All Conditions Gear moniker with every release.
