Everything’s bigger in Texas: the hair, the cars, and with Trojan G.O.A.T.…the parties.
While engines roared and adrenaline junkies took over Austin last week, Trojan took over Clive Bar for a two-day victory lap celebrating the launch of Trojan G.O.A.T. Throughout the high-octane weekend, racing fanatics, locals, and cowboy-booted VIPs alike flocked to the Rainey District to commemorate the weekend in true Texas style—that is, full speed ahead.
If the men in full Trojan-emblazoned racing suits (yes, helmets included) wandering up and down Rainey Street didn’t turn enough heads, the pulsing trance of bass and chatter booming from behind the towering fence certainly did. This was the unmistakable soundtrack of a party at full throttle.
“Start your engines, y’all!” grinned the door attendant in a soft southern twang, handing out drink tickets to the crowd quickly forming. Unlike the checkered flag at the big race nearby, this one signaled the starting line to the evening ahead.
Stepping through the guarded threshold, guests dove straight into the first lap of the evening. Across the bar, a bartender slid a Tajín-rimmed glass of “The Hot Lap”—a bespoke cocktail of equal parts sweet and heat—into the hands of a smiling attendee. The strum of a bass guitar and a steady drumming beat hummed in the distance from Austin’s own Responsible Adults taking to the stage outdoors, beckoning partygoers to the patio where the night’s main attractions awaited.
“Have you entered the giveaway yet?” an eager rep held out a glossy scratch-off ticket, motioning toward a nearby display. Housed in sleek glass cases, the prizes of the evening stood gleaming: limited-edition, Trojan-branded, felt wide-brim cowboy hats crafted to, well, turn heads. With stars in their eyes and Hot Laps in hand, guests queued up for their chance to take their modern Texan trophy home.
Just beyond the giveaway, the buzzing patio became the venue’s primary pitstop. Laughter spilled over the sound of Responsible Adults’ live music as clusters of friends cheers’d cocktails and snapped geotagged photos for the ‘gram. Wide-eyed attendees motioned their friends to follow upstairs to the evening’s biggest photo opp: a custom bronze and cream Trojan racing helmet, complete with “69” on the back.
Despite engines roaring and acclaimed fanfare nearby, the city’s biggest fete kicked off in celebration of the launch of Trojan’s newest product, G.O.A.T., the Greatest of All Trojan. Featuring patent-pending Ultra Flex material and silky smooth silicone lube, the new launch is Trojan's softest and most flexible condom—a game-changing innovation in non-latex protection and next-level intimacy. After all, your race to the finish line should be thrilling and worry-free.
As the sun descended on Saturday evening, Clive Bar was already back in gear. From opening hour, the crowd grew bigger, the music louder, and the Hot Laps even spicier for the second lap of the weekend. Like camera shutters at the race finish line, flashbulbs popped along the bar as VIPs spilled onto the turf dancefloor with cocktails raised high. Central Coast took center stage, energizing the audience with a set of '90s rock. And of course, spotted in the front row and throughout the standing room bar was the Trojan Racing Team—the mascots of the weekend.
Hot engines might’ve been taking over the city’s track, but Clive Bar was the unofficial headquarters of the 512’s most thrilling weekend of the year.
