The fall lineup of video games is upon us, bringing some of the most popular franchises with it. For sports fans, NBA 2K20, NHL 20, and FIFA 20 are all releasing it's yearly iteration.
Microsoft will undoubtedly have a big month with the highly anticipated release of Gears 5. With the Swarm corrupting The Coalition’s robot army and descending upon human cities, Kait Diaz takes front and center of the campaign as she embarks on a personal mission to uncover her connection to the enemy and discovers the true danger to Sera – herself.
Sticking to shooters, everyone's favorite FPS franchise, Borderlands 3, is finally seeing its long-awaited release. Fans are getting four all-new Vault Hunters, each more customizable than all their counterparts from previous games combined. Moze is a gunner who can digistruct and pilot a mech; Amara is a siren who can summon and smash enemies with ethereal fists; Fl4k is a robot beastmaster who calls in an array of animals to chomp down on enemies; and Zane is tech savvy hitman with lethal drones and gadgets at his disposal. If these characters weren't interesting enough, Gearbox has also revealed there will be over one billion guns to collect and customize in game. Say less.
Other notable titles out this month include Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, and Tropico 6.
