Highsnobiety
Double Tap to Zoom

Scandinavia is no stranger to high-quality interior design. The region’s design-obsessed nations, particularly Sweden and Denmark, now welcome a new contender: Westwing. A journey north is a natural next step for the Munich-based leader in premium home and living brand, known for its curated selection of international design brands and its own Westwing Collection. Over the years, the platform has steadily positioned itself as a destination for considered interiors, where aesthetics meet functionality.

Renowned for its rich tradition of design innovation and craftsmanship, the region provides an ideal setting for Westwing's newest expansion. From Arne Jacobsen to contemporary minimalists, Scandinavian design has long valued simplicity, tactility, and longevity—principles that align closely with Westwing’s own philosophy.

At Highsnobiety, our staff’s passion extends far beyond fashion—we’re equally captivated by interior design and always on the lookout for exceptional pieces that elevate a space. Many of us take pride in filling our flats with objects that feel personal, timeless, and carefully selected rather than random or trendy.

To mark the occasion, we’ve selected a number of our favorite Westwing pieces currently available on the platform. Whether it’s a sculptural vase fit for a solitary stem, a dining chair that balances comfort with quiet elegance, or a centrepiece that might actually make us host a proper dinner, these items reflect the luxury and functional beauty that define Scandinavian design—and Westwing’s growing influence within it.

Justin: Leather Armchair Dion

Low-slung and wide, this is the ‘70s Cadillac of upholstered companions—not a descriptor I’d usually deploy on my biannual hunt for furniture, but an alluring one nonetheless. Personally, I like to lounge, I like to entertain, I like to receive compliments on my impeccable taste, and I like to gossip. Yes, while I can do all of those things without this timeless combo of leather and chrome, it 's certainly an elevation the experience I've grown accustom to. Perched or reclined, slumped or poised, a pair of these would guarantee truly riveting conversation.

Jen: Mouth-blown Glass Vase Ostrea Rock

Smoky. Wavy. Drama queen in the best way. With flowers or without—she's versatile. Even better? When she brings a few friends along. I love how this vase catches the light—moody, sculptural, and never boring. Basically, it's doing the most by just sitting there.

Scott: Wooden Bed Tammy

I’m such a big fan of the minimalist design they used on this bedframe. It's a great canvas for setting the tone of your bedroom too. Throw some nice cashmere blankets on top and giant squishy pillows—suddenly the entire room feels so much more elevated and relaxed without having to go totally crazy.

Ufuk: Silk Duvet Cover Sylvie

Considering we spend about a third of our lives in bed, why not feel like a queen? We all deserve to feel sultry and sumptuous while frolicking in only the finest silk. It's not just good for your skin and hair, but probably also for your libido.

Wiktoria: Hand painted Storage Jar 70's

I'm obsessed with their ceramic pieces and bold furniture statements, like armchairs. Since I recently moved into a new flat, I'm on the lookout for unique items that are both functional—like a ceramic jar for kitchen storage—and beautiful enough to brighten up the space and bring joy to everyday moments.

Henry: Whatever Cushion Cover with Embroidered Lettering

In my personal life, I often seek moments of zen. Moving through the world, I am drawn toward paths illuminated with peace, tranquility, and calm. My secret, you ask? An animalistic scream twice weekly muffled by the plush comfort of the Westwing “Whatever” embroidered pillow, of course. No, it’s not quite pure enlightenment, but it’s close enough.

Serab: Small Floor Lamp Mills

The Mills lamp is more of a mood than a lamp. It blushes a pretty pink glow on the walls like it’s got a crush. Adorable.

Sophie: Large Floor Vase Leana with Sand Finish

Big volume, rich texture—a wabi-sabi celebration of imperfection and timeworn beauty. Whether perched on a plinth cradling a few delicate stems or taking center stage at long summer lunches, this piece balances presence with restraint. Crafted from natural materials in a classic silhouette, it’s timeless, not trendy—designed to endure, not disappear.
