Fledgling LA sportswear label BRANDBLACK has released the lookbook for its first ever full apparel collection, dubbed FUTURELEGENDS. The brand, which has its roots in basketball culture and was founded by David Raysse (formerly of adidas, Fila and Philippe Starck), was inspired by the notion of what basketball might look like in the year 2025. As such, conventional sportswear items meet edgier pieces of fashion-informed streetwear, with technical fabrics, heat-sealed seams and geometric lines all playing a part in the futuristic, austere look.

A new line of footwear completes the collection, covering both casual and court-side scenarios with a range of high and low silhouettes in varying leathers and fabrics. While there’s no word on a sale date yet, the lookbook covers both Fall/Winter 2014 and Spring/Summer 2015 periods, so expect a staggered release over the coming months.
