From Fall/Winter ’16 onward the iconic British designer Paul Smith will offer only two collections: Paul Smith and PS by Paul Smith. PS by Paul Smith is the new diffusion line for men and women bringing a youthful twist to the classic Paul Smith brand that has continued to impact global fashion for over 40 years.

Complementing the label's mainline collection, the new line is built on the same core values of confident color, unique print and sharp tailoring. Designed in London, it’s character reflects the capital city with playful twists on everyday essentials such as denim, knitwear, jersey and outwear. The collection inherits Paul Smith’s unique aesthetic, attention to detail and uncompromising quality.

Following the inaugural 2016 release, Spring/Summer ’17 looks to build upon the foundations set by continuing to focus heavily on menswear staples. One might typically connect the brand with tailoring; however, this collection is for a more casual lifestyle. Tailoring still features but jackets are unstructured and trousers relaxed in sportswear inspired shapes.

Sportswear's influence is evident throughout the collection with oversized sports stripes contrasting subtle racing stripes. Pieces feature performance characteristics and technical fabrics and are all emblazoned with the newly designed circular logo by Fergus Purcell.

The expansion of the new collection is matched by the opening of dedicated stores internationally. All PS by Paul Smith stores, including London and Paris, will feature design signatures such as neon pink color palettes, polished concrete and curved circular mirrors.
