Travel restrictions over the past two years have meant that 2022 is the first real ski season we’re being treated to in a long time. That means that the ante is well and truly upped. Not only should you be looking to show off your long-hidden abilities on the piste, but you should also be readying to look the part more than you ever have before.

We’ve been putting together skiing outfits in our heads since our first ski trip was canceled because of COVID. That’s a long time to plan but, as we all know, fail to plan and you plan to fail.

We’re not standing for any failure in our triumphant return to the snow, so after much consideration with the help of MR PORTER, we’ve rounded up three skiing outfits worthy of the wait.

Keep scrolling to see three skiing outfits to impress on the piste this season.

Winter blues

While one school of thought favors going big and bold on the slopes, some prefer to keep things understated. If you're part of the latter group, this outfit is perfect for you. Keeping things strictly grey & blue, we're forgoing a bulky jacket for Fusalp's merino wool Wengen II zip-up which is much warmer than you'd imagine.

Undercover

This undercover look revolves around the Falke face mask as its anchor. Balaclavas are highly popular off the slopes right now, so obviously we're carrying the trend over to the slopes — it's the garment's real home. Bogner's Neo Jacket made in collaboration with Goan Thylmann features a glossy water-repellant shell and super-lightweight padding; it might be our top ski jacket of the season.

Bold contrasts

Two sleek Aztech Mountain pieces in black set the foundation for the Moncler Grenoble Montgirod Jacket. In unmissable red, the Montgirod Jacket boasts a GORE-TEX shell with all the trimmings: storm cuffs, taped seams, Primaloft lining, and even RECCO technology in the sleeve to help determine your location in an emergency.
