Is this year’s Milan Design Week bringing us one of our favorite crossovers to date? The answer is yes, and we’re all over Lardini and XL Extralight coming together to make a workwear collection that is marrying form and function perfectly.

Lardini, renowned for its impeccable craftsmanship and timeless elegance, joins forces with the visionary minds of XL EXTRALIGHT® INDUSTREAM for a workwear collection curated by the esteemed Andrea Caputo Studio alongside the artistic prowess of Invernomuto.

This collaboration brings us not just an exhibition but an immersive experience, where form meets function in the most captivating manner. Enter the realm of Lardini's latest revelation: a workwear capsule, a seamless fusion of practicality and panache, unveiled amidst the avant-garde landscape of Milan's design epicenter.

Designed in collaboration with the ingenious Giga Design Studio, the collection speaks to the modern-day nomad, the urban voyager navigating the bustling streets with effortless flair. Jackets, trousers, and baseball caps emerge as the protagonists of this narrative, each bearing the unmistakable stamp of Lardini's heritage, reimagined through the lens of industrial chic.

If you aren’t already familiar with either brands, both have made names for themselves for similar commitments to style, durability, and quality. Lardini is a fashion brand renowned for its high-quality tailored menswear. Founded in 1978 by the Lardini brothers, Luigi, and Andrea, the brand initially focused on producing men's jackets, and is particularly known for its soft construction jackets, intricate patterns, and use of luxurious fabrics.

Lardini, Lardini

Over the years, Lardini has gained recognition for its craftsmanship, attention to detail, and innovative designs. While the brand's roots are in traditional tailoring, it has evolved to incorporate contemporary elements, offering a wide range of clothing and accessories for men.

Enter XL EXTRALIGHT®, an ingredient brand company that provides a specific component or technology used in the construction for a range of shoes around the world. XL EXTRALIGHT® have made a name for themselves by specializing in providing lightweight, flexible, and durable foam materials used in the construction of various products and of course, footwear.

Their shared vision for a world where craftsmanship is at the core of everything has resulted in a clothing line of impressive quality. Constructed from navy-hued cotton drill, the garments exude rugged refinement, and are testament to Lardini's mastery of material and form. Emblazoned with the iconic Lardini x XL EXTRALIGHT® insignia, juxtaposed with graphic elements, the jackets command attention with their commanding presence. Meanwhile, the trousers boast clean lines and meticulous off-white stitching.

If you're seeking some sartorial sophistication, the Lardini x XL EXTRALIGHT® Men's capsule collection is exclusively available at the Lardini boutique in Milan. Make sure to get yours before the collection says “arrivederci.”
