Double Tap to Zoom

The Samba has had a good run. Now, adidas might have another terrace staple waiting in the wings.

For its latest collaboration, sneaker media platform Hartcopy gives the BW Army Decon a fresh lease on life, and it feels like exactly the kind of low-key move the terrace sneaker scene needs right now.

Rather than chasing another over-the-top moment, the collab taps into that slightly more considered, grown-up side of sneaker culture.

The “Halo Gold” colorway feels particularly on point. It has the polish of something you’d actually want to wear on repeat, without losing the casual energy that made terrace sneakers so appealing in the first place. It’s the kind of shoe that could quietly become a wardrobe mainstay while everyone else is still arguing about which Samba to buy.

And that feels very Hartcopy. The platform has built its name around knowing what’s happening in sneaker culture before it becomes completely unavoidable, making this collaboration feel less like a desperate attempt at hype and more like a subtle vote for what comes next.

The Samba might still own the terrace conversation, but it’s getting crowded. If this collab is anything to go by, the BW Army Decon could be ready for its own turn in the spotlight.
