The Art of Staying In: adidas CONFIRMED’s Fall Edit
Post-summer, the threat of winter can feel daunting. Luckily, we are cushioned with fall, a quiet middle ground where the light fades early, the air sharpens, and life slowly starts to fold inward. Feeling like cancelling plans? Do it babe. It’s an act of self-preservation for the sake of comfort, and comfort is starting to feel like a decision worth styling this time of year.
adidas CONFIRMED’s latest capsule, The Fall Edit, lives in that space between rest and intent. Sweaters with structure, socks that anchor you to the floor, and mules made for short journeys across familiar rooms. This collection reimagines the small moments at home, with each piece holding its own special warmth and a sense that staying in can be deliberate.
Every detail works toward a kind of domestic precision — constructed with familiar materials, but refined until they feel entirely considered. To take the concept further, adidas partnered with Los Angeles design studio Drought, known for its offbeat approach to furniture and collectible design. Together they built two limited-edition collectibles that push the idea of comfort beyond clothing.
The Track Pant Chair does exactly what it sounds like: reinterprets the Firebird track pant as an upholstered seat. The stripes, the color, and even the drape all translate into something solid, padded, and generous enough for two.
Next is the The Original Deck, a pack of adidas Originals playing cards housed in a shoebox-style tin. It’s both functional and ornamental, a small study in brand mythology. Some will use it. Some will keep it on display. Everyone will appreciate it, one way another.
Both collectibles, developed in collaboration with Drought, will be given away to the community via an online draw, available in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Japan, and South Korea (terms and conditions apply). Sign-ups close on November 6, check it out here.
