If you’re picking up on the throwback vibes of the all-new adidas Originals Prophere, you’re right on the money. They dug into their archives and pulled inspiration from the in-your-face attitude of the ’90s, but made ’em look ultramodern. The sneakers drop December 15 at Foot Locker in Europe.

The first thing that caught our eye were the iconic three stripes, which have been super-sized in thickness and is where the kicks are laced. Other features include a sculpted midsole, a one-piece knit upper, and a leather heel cage.

adidas Originals designed the sneakers with underground creatives in mind who are out there on the periphery shaking things up. The lineup in the Prophere campaign features some of Europe’s most influential players in music right now including rising UK grime artist MIST and his fellow Brit, the super music producer and DJ, Steel Banglez. Rising French rapper SCH, and Tunisian-Italian trap artist Ghali also star in the CCTV surveillance-styled shoot.

The strong color-blocked, glitched aesthetic continues adidas's countercultural feel, adding to the Three Stripes' reputation as the brand of the zeitgeist. If you wanna see more, and get your feet in the physical sneakers, jump to Foot Locker in Europe for all the details.
