Designed for laid-back living, and paired best with a watermelon smoothie, the bright Red, Solar Slime and Clay colorway gives the shoe a bold fade effect. From the breathable upper to a 3M back tab, the LJ Adistar Control feels like a brand new take on a classic.
Simone Rocha Taekwondo Ballerina

Editor's Notes: Irish designer Simone Rocha just gave the Taekwondo ballerina a whimsical goth makeover. Combining an all leather upper with ribbon laces, the build of the taekwondo is more reminiscent of something you'd see on an actual ballerina than a martial arts fighter. The diamond toe details and the embellished back tab double down on that feeling, all wrapped in a neat, red bow. The ultimate ballet sneaker of ballet sneakers.
Handball Spezial Loafer

Editor's Notes: Snoafer? Leaker? The Handball Spezial is neither or both, materializing in a plush chocolate brown upper with all the features of your most loved pair of leather dress shoes. This sole doesn't take ten months to break in though. In balancing the comfort of a Spezial with the premium look of a loafer, this is for sure one of the better dress-shoe-sneaker hybrids.
Ghost Sprint Shoes

Editor's Notes: Once again, the adidas archive's wealth of weird 2000s running silhouettes brings forth a quirky the old runner. The two lace design and furry brown upper feel like a return to playful footwear that was iconic in the 2000s and might just make a comeback in 2026. Chocolatey, fuzzy, and sleek, this a weird and wonderful release.
Tokyo Shoes

Editor's Notes: The Tokyo shoe has quietly become a streetwear staple thanks to its sleek design, seen this everywhere from Dimes Square to Shoreditch. An icon of the Originals sublabel, this Tokyo leans more into its '70s roots, with a premium leather upper and reinforced toe-box, all in a deep brown town. 1976 or 2026 or 2036 even, the Tokyo scores in every decade.
PW Water Moc

Editor's Notes: Whether in his work with Human Race or his role as Creative Director at LV, Pharrell loves to raid archive. The Water Moc is straight from the depths of adidas' HQ, with a bungee-cord fastening and perforated upper. Even though this water monster has all the trappings of an adventure sneaker, it'd look at home in the Bayou and Brooklyn.
Barreda Decode Shoes

Editor's Notes: We've done sneaker loafers, we've seen its ballet flats. To adidas, the next frontier must've been the boat shoe. Going full unc-mode with the moccasin toe and wrap-around lace upper, from above the Barreda Decode can look distinctly yacht-ish. However, with its chunky sole anchoring the sneaker firmly as a hybrid, you can't help but appreciate it as more than just a Topsider lookalike.
