The adidas Superstar recently celebrated its 50th-anniversary, meaning we were treated to collaborations with the likes of Prada and Sean Wotherspoon, as well as a slew of general release colorways, many of which did the iconic silhouette more than justice. That being said, we might be seeing the best Superstar in a while in 2022, if the above, leaked product images are anything to go by.

Apparently, adidas Originals will be releasing a Superstar that pairs a vintage, pre-worn look with pops of retro red. The sneaker’s midsole is slightly yellowed, as are the laces and the shell toe. The white leather base looks like it’s constructed of higher-quality leather. To finish it off, the sneaker features pops of fuzzy red suede on the heel tab and Three Stripes branding, as well as red accents on the sock liner.

There’s no word yet on when exactly this Superstar will be released, though it’s highly likely we’ll see it at some point in early 2022. Stay tuned for more information.
