Sneakerheads are bombarded with news of upcoming releases on a daily basis. To save you some time from searching each and every site and leak account, we've taken it upon ourselves to sift through the onslaught and bring you a few noteworthy kicks that have captured our attention.

Today, Y-3 revealed its revamp of the adidas Forum Hi, courtesy of Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. A number of the silhouette's familiar design elements have been altered to deliver a cleaner variation of the Three Stripes classic.

In other sneaker news, Nike just debuted an all-new basketball line, the Greater Than Series, with three shoes that target specific areas of a player's game. For something more casual, On will soon be releasing two new colorways of its everyday model, the Cloudnova. And last but not least, ASICS' under-the-radar trail runner, the GEL-Venture 7, is back in a pair of bold looks that will carry you through the spring and summer months in style.

Read on to get the latest info about the adidas Y-3 Forum Hi OG and more.

adidas Y-3 Forum Hi OG

Release Date: April 7

Where to Buy: The adidas CONFIRMED app, adidas.com, and in select stores

Editor’s Notes: Yohji Yamamoto and Y-3 have reimagined adidas' iconic Forum Hi. Showcased in the designer's preferred all-black palette, the classic sneaker has been stripped of its extra details and now features a more streamlined look. Instead of the usual Three Stripes branding on the lateral side, the Y-3 Forum Hi OG boasts a zipper that wraps around the back of the shoe and ends at the ankle. The strap at the tongue has also been revamped, as a hook-and-loop strap enclosure emerges to offer added support. Predominantly crafted from leather and featuring suede lining, the adidas Y-3 Forum Hi OG launches next week on April 7.

Nike Greater Than Series

Release Date: Beginning April 1

Where to Buy: Nike

Editor’s Notes: Nike Basketball's new Greater Than Series is designed to enable special movements in an athlete's game. The collection consists of three silhouettes — the Air Zoom G.T. Cut, Air Zoom G.T. Run, and Air Zoom G.T. Jump — each of which caters to a specific type of play on the court. The Air Zoom G.T. Cut is for cutting and change of direction, while the Air Zoom G.T. Run is for energy return and running economy. Lastly, the Air Zoom G.T. Jump is for vertical jumping and impact protection. The Nike Basketball Greater Than Series launches April 1, beginning with the Air Zoom G.T. Cut, followed by the Air Zoom G.T. Run in Summer 2021 and the Air Zoom G.T. Jump later in the year.

On Cloudnova New Colorways

Release Date: April 1

Where to Buy: On

Editor’s Notes: Two refreshing colorways of On's everyday shoe, the Cloudnova, are on the way to kick off the new month. Dropping April 1, we see the mid-top model optioned in "Cream Camo" for women and "Cobalt Flame" for men. The Cloudnova is outfitted with the Swiss brand's cutting edge technology, as it is designed for all-day wear. Constructed like a sock, the shoe utilizes On's award-winning CloudTec sole and Speedboard flex plate to provide the wearer with ample bounce for each step.

ASICS GEL-Venture 7 New Colorways

Release Date: TBC

Where to Buy: Select retailers such as Subtype

Editor’s Notes: With outdoor footwear seemingly as popular as it's ever been in fashion circles, ASICS is coming through accordingly to deliver new enticing colorways of the GEL-Venture 7. The unassuming trail runner is dropping soon in a pair of eye-catching schemes of “Lime Green/Yellow” and “Yellow/Ox Brown.” If you're in the market for a quality shoe that most sneakerheads aren't lining up to get, you can set yourself apart by copping the GEL-Venture 7 when it releases in these bold colors.
