Once the premier destination for spring breakers and nightlife enthusiasts, Miami is also now a hub for soccer fans, thanks in part to Inter Miami's 2023 acquisition of Lionel Messi.

But soccer superstars are far from the only hype builders for La Familia, as Inter Miami fans are called. Audi has also joined the fútbol fandom as the official luxury car partner of Inter Miami.

It's looking to build on the existing excitement surrounding soccer that has taken root in South Florida and quickly spread across North America.

The present-day success of Inter Miami happened quite quick. For years, soccer's popularity lagged in the States but there is just something about having one of the greatest athletes to ever kick a soccer ball playing on American turf that really has a way of turning things around. Who knew?

Now, with the 2026 World Cup taking place in the US and Messi Mania boiling to a fever pitch, Audi's decision to partner with Inter Miami is another sign of the Club's growing popularity.
