Nike’s Super-Advanced Running Sneaker Goes Prickly & Pink
Tickled pink? Nike's latest Vomero Premium sneaker is prickled and pink.
The "Spikes" running shoes are back in a new "Arctic Pink" colorway, which sees the freaky design splashed with pretty pink, energetic orange, and black colors. It basically got even bolder the second time around.
Nike released the Vomero Premium "Spikes" shoes earlier this year in a "Black/Volt Glow" colorway. It was essentially the classic super runner but with spiky uppers.
Mind you, the Vomero Premium already features a next-level design, with super-stacked soles flaunting visible Air Zoom units and Zoom X cushioning. The spiky update put the sneaker on another planet, essentially.
And the spikes don't have any special running properties (that we know of). And per the message on the heel, they're not even "approved by world athletics." It just makes the already advanced sneaker freakishly cooler.
Nike's now expanding the Spikes family with the release of the new "Arctic Pink" pairs. Speaking of which, they're now available on the brand's website for $230.
After Chick-fil-A-coded runners and even Realtree camo Vomero Premiums, there's no telling where Nike's high-performance sneakers will run next.
Right now, they're literally out of this world.
