Streetwear label Awake NY has linked up with audio specialists Marshall to create a limited-edition, co-branded speaker. Following a collaborative youth empowerment project, the Acton III Awake NY Edition is Marshall and Awake’s first product collaboration.

The Acton III, a compact Bluetooth speaker with a re-engineered wider soundstage for immersive sound, has been given subtle design updates by Awake NY.

The speaker includes black-on-black checkered debossing along with blue lighting details and bold Awake NY branding.

“This collaboration with Marshall celebrates everything Awake NY stands for: the intersection of culture, creativity, and community,” says Angelo Baque, Founder of Awake NY, in a statement. "Together, we’ve created something that embodies the energy of our shared values, offering not only functionality but a meaningful experience for everyone who appreciates the transformative power of music and design.”

In addition to the Acton III speaker, Marshall and Awake NY launch Live From Awake NY, a series of community nights highlighting emerging talent. The event series seeks to highlight New York’s creative landscape and includes a financial donation to the Queens Museum’s Queens Teens Institute for Art and Social Justice, building on Angelo Baque’s longstanding partnership with the museum.

Whether it’s hairy shoes or overdyed denim, Awake NY always finds ways to honor its hometown through its collaborations. This one, available now for pre-order at $279.99, is no different.
