Mass Appeal and Certified classics have shared the first trailer for Foul Child: The Legend Of Big L, the documentary celebrating the life and legacy of rapper Big L.

Although he was tragically murdered in 1999, Big L's legacy has endured in the minds of fans and with a lasting impact on hip-hop. Foul Child spotlights the story of the legendary rapper, featuring unreleased footage of the late Big L and interviews with Dave East, RZA, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Twelvyy, Bobbito Garcia, Buckwild, Peter Rosenberg and Stretch Armstrong.

“We hope that this short documentary inspires the creation of a larger, full-length piece to tell more of his incredible story,” Mass Appeal CEO Peter Bittenbender said in a statement. “Although just a small piece of the puzzle, we’re proud to unleash something for L’s fans to give a unique glimpse into his legacy."

The mini-doc is set to be released in tandem with the 25th anniversary of Big L's landmark debut album Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous, on May 29. Check out the full trailer below.
