Berluti has tapped former Highsnobiety cover star Blondey McCoy to be the face of its SS20 advertising campaign. McCoy was photographed in Rome by his long-time friend and collaborator Alasdair McLellan, who has shot two other campaigns for Berluti under the artistic direction of Kris Van Assche.

“Blondey immaculately blends the qualities of an old soul with the lust for life of a new generation," says Van Assche. "For Berluti, which historically catered to the likes of Greta Garbo, Robert Mapplethorpe and Patti Smith, his refined rebellious attitude is the spirit with which this maison is entering a new decade.”

Berluti's SS20 collection is transported from the runway to reality through the Blondey McCoy-starring campaign, which also highlights the subject's contemporary elegance. As a complement to the images of Blondey by Alasdair McLellan, photographer Erwan Frotin spotlights Berluti's seasonal shoes and bags through portraiture, all of which can be seen underneath.
