Editors Notes: So, you’ve got a sun-faded Detroit jacket, a pair of double knee pants, and a mechanic's old oil-stained boiler suit — but do you have a Carhartt WIP pillow?

When Hamilton Carhartt founded the brand in 1889 with the purpose of creating hard-wearing clothing for manual laborers, it's hard to imagine that he could have foreseen the loyal fan base of style-conscious workwear enthusiasts it would birth over a century later. But its durable designs have made the workwear imprint a favorite of farmers to streetwear loyalists and everyone in between.

Those with a sweet spot for the label's function-focused garments are now able to add its signature brown canvas to their home decorations. With a two-tone design, the Carhartt WIP pillow allows you to select which shade of brown best suits the bed, couch, or chair that you choose to decorate. Carharrt's classic square woven branding is added to the bottom corner of the lighter side, providing a subtle flex if you decide to have it on show.

The label has created homeware before in the form of magazine stands and vases. This pillow, which was released as part of the label's SS22 collection is the latest item for collectors to cop. Also included in the new drop are a dog leash, glow in the dark AirPods case, and a mini speaker, alongside new takes on its workwear-informed designs.
