Editor’s Notes: Carhartt WIP and Awake NY have come together for a SS20 collaboration combing the former's rugged, utilitarian aesthetic with the NYC-informed sensibility of Awake NY’s founder, Angelo Baque. Drawing from vintage hunting gear, the co-branded collection consists of 12 pieces spanning apparel and accessories.

A standout from the capsule, Carhartt's iconic Michigan Coat is decorated with brightly-colored pockets and paneling, while an embroidered brand lock-up appears on the back of the outerwear.

Also featured in the collection are contrast stitch hoodies and pocket T-shirts created as a part of Carhartt WIP’s American Script jersey program. The tops are joined by a Watch Hat beanie offered in three colorways with pop color labeling.

Carhartt WIP x Awake NY SS20 will officially debut in Paris on January 17 with a dedicated pop-up at Carhartt WIP Store Le Marais (57 Rue du Temple 75004). The space will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The collection then launches globally on January 18.
