Mother’s Day is one of those rare moments that briefly unites social media platfroms in uniquely positive content. This year was no exception, with everyone from A$AP Rocky  and 2 Chainz to Jonah Hill and Kim Kardashian taking to Instagram to earn some maternal brownie points.

Some celebs kept it short and sweet, while others showered their mothers with paragraphs of praise. A couple even used the opportunity to publicly apologize for all the drama they had put their moms through in their younger years. One thing is for sure, there was a lot of love and appreciation on our feeds this weekend.

Take a look at how your favorite artists, athletes, and actors toasted their mothers this year.

With all my Love and Respect I say thank u Mrs. Rivers. As a teacher u hold the most noble profession in our society. The role you hold can awaken and further a child’s curiosity. If done without love and care it will stifle that child with worry and self doubt. ??????????U filled me and all of your classes with confidence and the will and want to learn. U produced other teachers like Tarchell and Birgitta! U helped shape Great fathers in Darius & Cleon. U instructed community leaders like JP who runs youth football in Adamsville like our own Snoop or uncle like. ??????????Hell u even made a rapper lol. Thank u. U deeply affect me still. You are a part of my love of Self, being black and learning. ??‍♂️??‍♀️??‍♂️??‍♀️??‍♂️??‍♀️??‍♂️??‍♀️??‍♂️??‍♀️They call u the child whisperer & u are. However I did make u spank me after u had to call my Grannie so many times! She made u do it lol. I still remember and Respect that yard stick. ??????????????????All that to say again Thank U Mrs. Rivers. #APS and the Collier Heights Adamsville community will always be better becuz of U. #ImRedShirt44InTheMiddle #MissRiversWasGold #IAmSoHappyToBeAbleToSayThankU #GotYourRosesAndMoreToCome #EvenKidsUAintTeachLoveU #UMadeADifferenceABigOne2 #LOKimberly #CollierHeights #SheTaughtLovieMySisterToo #DidntTeachShundaButLoveHerToo ?. #ThankAllGoodTeachers
