JJJJound

Brand: Eddie Bauer x JJJJound

Season: FW20

Key Pieces: Those in need of a winter layering staple should swipe to slide #10 for JJJJound's take on Eddie Bauer's classic Canadian down-filled vest, now available in three new colorways.

Release Date: November 12

Buy: Eddie Bauer and JJJJound

Editor’s Notes: You could say Eddie Bauer, the legendary outdoors brand that goes back to the 1920s, has had an under-the-radar impact on fashion and streetwear as we know it. Aside from being a go-to for Kanye West in recent times, the history of the forever-popular winter puffer jacket can be traced back to 1936, when Bauer released the Skyliner Jacket, aka the first-ever patented down jacket.

For FW20, the aforementioned Skyliner Jacket along with the Canadian Vest (first released in 1954) have been revived by Montreal-based creative studio JJJJound in typically understated style.

The collection's unassuming khaki, navy, and beige color scheme and simplistic design will feel very coherent to anyone following previous JJJJound projects, notably the Vans Old SkoolNew Balance 992 , Reebok Classic Nylon, and the collection with A.P.C.

Available from tomorrow, the Eddie Bauer JJJJound Canadian Vest 2020 will retail for $245, with the Eddie Bauer JJJJound Skyliner Jacket 2020 coming in at $295.
