What’s your earliest beauty-related memory? 

Going through puberty at 14 and beginning to deal with acne.

How has your definition of beauty changed as you’ve gotten older? 

When I was younger, my definition of beauty was related to one's social status. Now my definition of beauty is one's authenticity. 

What’s the first beauty product you ever bought?

Africa shea butter!

What’s the one product you always splurge on?

Clinique Wrinkle Repair Smooth and Renew Lab Set.

What’s your favorite drug store product? 

Carmax.

What’s your holy grail — the one product you can’t live without?

Colgate with baking soda and peroxide. The value pack, to be exact.

What do you smell like?

Linen and peppermint.

What’s your favorite under-the-radar beauty brand?  

Green Rose Beauty by Doquan Hines. 

Do you shower in the morning or at night?

Both!

How does your style inform your beauty routine?

Making sure I feel comfortable, light, fresh. 

What is one piece of beauty advice you would give to everyone?

Minding your business prevents wrinkles and keeps your stress levels down.
