Double Tap to Zoom

In the early 2000s, you'd probably find the adidas Adizero Adios sneaker breaking marathon records. Today, it's pretty much a full-time fashion sneaker.

It still has its historic accolades and even its sporty look, but the adidas Adios model is even more stylish now. And you can thank adidas and its collaborators for that. London brand Wales Bonner helped revive and revamp Adios with luxury spins. And just recently, Japanese retailer Billy's gave it a Miu Miu-level refresh.

Indeed, Billy's pairs are easily the most suave Adios sneakers to date. They come dressed in clean tonal designs and plush suede, all while laced up with not one but two sets of shoelaces.

It's almost as if Miu Miu was here. All that's missing is the flat soles. But that's not the Adios' thing.

The double-lacing and suede call back to the luxury brand's own sneakers, known for their particularly fashionable, twice-as-fun look. It's quite honestly started a whole sneaker trend, with other brand models, including adidas shoes, doubling up on their laces.

Now, the Adios has gone Miu Miu, for the better.

The newest suede sneakers are available exclusively on Billy's website for about $120. They arrive in two colorways: beige and black. And double the dose of fun.
