Double Tap to Zoom

They might be self-isolating in Los Angeles and Sydney, respectively, but that hasn't come between Fear of God's Jerry Lorenzo and photographer Pierre Toussaint from giving fans a fresh look at the forthcoming all-black Nike Air Fear of God 1.

The pair came up with the ingenious idea of using Zoom to capture Lorenzo's son, Jerry Lorenzo Manuel III, playing at home in the new kicks. As seen in the gallery above, Toussaint pulled screengrabs as the boy passed the time with a bit of basketball, baseball, and even some skating. With global lockdowns seemingly in place for the foreseeable future, FoG won't be the last brand to employ some outside the box thinking when it comes to showcasing new product.

The opulent shoe features a black mesh upper with a jewel Swoosh on the lateral and medial side panels, crafted using parts and materials from Italy. At the base is a black Air Zoom bubble, which differs from previous colorways that were tinted blue.

The original release date of February 14 was initially postponed. Rumors now suggest the Nike Air Fear of God 1 "noir" will arrive on April 25.
