Season: Holiday 2017

Key Pieces: Graphic printed T-shirts and sweatshirts

Editor’s Notes: Gosha Rubchinskiy has joined forces with Ilya Lagutenko of the iconic Russian indie band Mumiy Troll for a limited collection through global lifestyle retailer Urban Outfitters.

With Mumiy Troll renowned for being influential and helping shape the landscape for future Russian rock groups since 1983, Ilya is often credited with bringing ’90s grunge music and skate culture to Vladivostok, Russia and popularizing it throughout the country.

This past August marked the 20th anniversary of Mumiy Troll’s cult pop rock album, Morskaya, translated as “Nautical,” and with Gosha noted as a fan of their music, this collab highlights the mutual respect and understanding for each other’s craft through utilizing the artwork that went in to Mumiy Troll’s official debut album implemented across a range of graphic tees and sweatshirts.

With prices ranging from $40 to $99 USD, you can find the entire collection at select Urban Outfitters stores across North America starting this Friday, December 15, while an online release is scheduled for Monday, December 18.
