Highsnobiety Kicked Off NYFW With StockX
NYFW has already come and gone.
During this heightened week in fashion, it doesn’t matter if you’re running to the corner store or a show, local New Yorkers and visitors from far away pull out all the stops to curate their best fits of the season.
Knowing good and well that some of the most head-turning looks feature the most sought-after grails, we decided to team up with StockX, the industry player that provides some of the world’s most coveted sneakers and fashion items, to kick off our NYFW celebration.
Starting the evening off right, we hosted an intimate dinner where designers, musicians, actors, and models such as Jourdan Dunn, EEM Triplin, $not, and Quil Lemon sat around the table at NYC’s Casino. As the night progressed, we made our way to the night’s main event.
At Virgin Hotels, attendees hit the dancefloor and enjoyed unobstructed panoramic views of the city from 38 floors up while Vashtie took over the decks to warm up the crowd. As we crept towards the hours of the early morning (who is actually sleeping during Fashion Week anyway?) DJ Kitty Cash started to spin, throwing down classic NY hip-hop favorites like Ice Spice and Pop Smoke to keep the crowd moving all night long.
Illuminated by the surrounding skyscraper’s lights, we couldn’t help but take note of our guest’s impressive ensembles, including staples of the season from fearless footwear to statement outerwear, which had us rethinking how we can take our style to the next level.
Whether you’re looking for a pair of sneakers that you weren’t fast enough to snatch, the latest statement handbag, or a new timepiece to complete your look, StockX has you covered. And luckily for us, StockX understands that with great pieces, comes great responsibility. StockX Verified guarantees that every item that is sold on the platform goes through a proprietary multi-step verification process with a team of expert authenticators.
