If you thought adidas was done reinventing performance silhouettes, think again. The adidas Originals Adizero Aruku, originally born from the fast world of the Adizero line, is now strutting through cities the world over, and we’re here for it. With roots in adidas’ 2000s runner aesthetic, the Adizero Aruku is a streetwear reimagining of those classic codes of technical flair with just enough throwback speed to feel nostalgic through a modern lens.

Naturally, a shoe that makes a statement like the Adizero Aruku demands style to match. To show us how it’s done, adidas pulled some of football’s freshest faces who know a thing or two about tunnel fits. Héctor Fort, Noni Madueke and Ademola Lookman’s outfits are the perfect inspo for exactly how to wear the Adizero Aruku’s retro-futuristic silhouette.

Whether you’re keeping it low-key or turning every pavement into a runway, the Adizero Aruku’s got your back. Can’t decide what to wear? Take a page from Ademola — he threw on an understated black ensemble and let a bold pair of Adizero Arukus do the talking. Héctor took the same approach, but added an eye-catching jersey to break up the blackout vibe. On the flip side, Noni turned up the energy with bold stripes, graphic pants and a pair of show-stealing color-matched Adizero Arukus. Want to stay under the radar instead? Go for the all-black-everything combo. Still a serve.

The point is: the Adizero Aruku isn’t beholden to any specific style — it just upgrades whatever you’re already working with. Pulling on sweats, mixing patterns, or layering up neutrals, the Adizero Aruku fits right in (and somehow makes it all look intentional).
