Esteemed New York horologists Jacob & Co have aligned the worlds of luxury watches and luxury cars with the new Bugatti Chiron 16-Cylinder Tourbillon. According to Forbes, it's worth $280,000.

The watch – comprised of 578 separate components –  is inspired by the inner workings of a Bugatti 16-cylinder engine, complete with miniature crankshaft and pistons, which go into movement when the right crown is deployed. The intricate timekeeping can be viewed thanks to a sapphire crystal viewing aperture on the side, where the Bugatti logo is also engraved.

Along with a black and electric blue color scheme, the likeness to one of Bugatti's hypercars is furthered with titanium shell casing and a streamlined rubber strap.
