We are the Market point us to these incredible Japanese 'retro-future' illustrations over at Dark Roasted Blend. Science fiction illustrations from the 30's-60's featuring rocket powered, propeller driven hi-tech madness in all its lurid technicolour glory. Our vision of the future always ends up looking a little ridiculous when we actually get there, Back to the Future a case in point, however we'll never stop enjoying these skewed visions of what's to come and praying that the hoverboard comes to pass.
