Nike's "Midnight Navy" colorway is arguably one of the nicest, underrated schemes in the Swoosh's sneaker color collection. The attractive combo of deep navy blues and crisp whites has dressed famous shoes like the Air Jordan 4 and Jordan 5, resulting in some of the shoes' best paint jobs yet.

Long story short: Jordan can rarely go wrong with "Midnight Navy" sneakers. So, it was no surprise to see the Air Jordan 1 High OG looking exceptional in the classic colorway.

There have been many great navy Jordan shoes over the years, but the Jordan 1 High sneakers — dare I say — is quite literally "Midnight Navy" perfection.

Walk with me for a moment. The iconic shades lands on the beloved Jordan 1 sneaker in classic color-blocking.

The familiar navy blue and white shades take turns decorating the reissued Jordan 1 shoe's buttery leather panels, joined by black moments around the collar and Swoosh.

The icing on the cake is the intentionally aged sole, giving the sneaker a real OG Jordan 1 feel. A few comments said they could do without the vintage detail, but it looks quite good, in my opinion.

The Air Jordan 1 High "Midnight Navy" sneakers aren't releasing till the second half of 2024 (murmurs say they're dropping in September). But fans are ready to add them to their carts now, judging by the number of fire emojis and positive reactions to early looks.

Little wonder that Nike's classic colorway has inspired instantly sold-out drops of everything from the Jordan 6 to the humble AJ 11.

The "Midnight Navy" AJ1s makes for a nice pre-treat ahead of the model's 40th birthday in 2025, which promises somehow even bigger releases.

As we speak, the anniversary drops are already stacking up, from extremely coveted revivals to plenty of iconic low-tops.

In other words, 2025 will almost certainly be a good year for the Air Jordan 1 sneaker and its longtime fans.
