Longtime partners Ronnie Fieg and ASICS are gearing up to release one of the craziest projects we’ve seen from the duo (and perhaps any collaborator) this week.

In celebration of the GEL-Lyte 3’s 30th-anniversary, Fieg and ASICS have identified 30 of Kith’s most-used colors since the brand’s founding nine years ago and have applied them to 30 colorways of the GEL-Lyte 3. Each colorway is limited to just 300 pairs and all 30 (that makes around 9000 shoes in total) will be released on November 27, Black Friday 2020.

The project, dubbed The Palette, is more than fitting, as Ronnie Fieg has proven over the years to be a master colorist. Thirty colorways can be slightly overwhelming though, especially when many of the colorways are highly similar and only a shade or two different.

Fret not, though as Highsnobiety’s sneaker gurus Tim Suen and myself, Fabian Gorsler, have picked out our favorite 10 colorways. Check out our picks, ranked in order, below.

The 10 best Kith x ASICS GEL-Lyte 3 “30th Anniversary” colorways:

10. Chalk

9. French Clay

8. Monarch

7. Anchor

6. Majestic

5. Plaster

4. Mantle

3. Elevation

2. Quicksand

1. Molecule

All 30 colorways from The Palette is set to be released on Kith’s website on November 27. For more release information, head to our dedicated post here.
