Double Tap to Zoom

Hip-hop icon and original Queen Bee, Lil' Kim has released her fifth studio album, titled 9. This is her first full-length release since 2016's Lil Kim Season mixtape and first proper album since 2005's The Naked Truth.

Over 9 tracks the Brooklyn-bred rapper delivers auto-tuned rhymes over victorious beats. It's different from the gritty New York rap we're used to from Kim. It seems to be a new chapter for the MC and she invites Rick Ross, City Girls’ Yung Miami, O.T. Genasis, Musiq Soulchild and Rich The Kid to celebrate it with her. The record includes previously released singles "Go Awff" and "Found You"

During a promotional interview earlier this month Lil' Kim revealed that there's still more to come after this album drop, saying "I will tell you this, I recorded so many songs, I have a part one and a part two." While we wait for more info on the second part, you can listen to the first instalment of below.
