Editor's Notes: L.L. Bean's Archive Re-issue collection packs a double punch. Not only does it artfully revive some of the greatest elements of its 1991 All-Sports jacket, but it's also made deadstock surplus fabric. In fact, the L.L. Bean used over 8,000 yards of the recycled fabric to craft a limited run of 1,700 Anoraks, 750 bucket hats, and 750 classic totes.

The retro-style Anorak comes in an oversized fit with chunky trim, and zippered kangaroo pouch, available in Black/ Blue Green, and Red Violet/ Purple colorways. L.L. Bean puts a contemporary spin on its archive-inspired bucket hats which arrive in Black or Pink iterations with contrasting details. Similarly rendered in surplus fabric, the totes come in Black and Pink options.

As it's made exclusively from a finite amount of surplus material the capsule comes in pretty limited supply. It is, however, the first of the Archive Re-issue collections, which we're hoping will turn into an ongoing series. It's particularly likely given the brand's commitment to reducing waste and the ongoing demand for both environmentally responsible garments and '90s inspired pieces.
