[UPDATE] August 27, 2018 3:16 p.m. EST Microsoft has officially announced Xbox All Access, a new plan that includes subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold, in addition to Xbox One hardware for a discounted monthly fee.
Users can get an Xbox One S with Xbox All Access starting at $21.99 per month with zero percent APR for 24 months, a savings of over $130, and those who choose an Xbox One X with Xbox All Access starts at $34.99 per month, also with zero percent APR for 24 months. In addition, users will be able to access more than 100 games through Xbox Game Pass, and online multiplayer with Xbox Live Gold.

Microsoft is reportedly planning to unveil a monthly Xbox subscription service that bundles an Xbox One S or Xbox One X, Xbox Live, and the Xbox Game Pass (the latter of which has been called "the Netflix of games"). Dubbed "All Access," the package's monthly price will change depending on the type of console you get.
According to Windows Central, gamers can expect to pay around $22 per month for an Xbox One S bundle and $35 per month for Xbox One X. The Verge, meanwhile, suggests at least some of the packages would be 24-month subscriptions and that the service has been codenamed "Project Largo" by Microsoft.
Windows Central did the math and the All Access subscription service works out cheaper than buying the bundle at retail price — but only just. However, it is a convenient way to pay for a console in installments, especially if you can't afford to buy a console off the bat.
Current reports suggest All Access is set for a US-only launch, but Microsoft could expand the subscription service in the future.
