The NBA Dunk Contest aired last night and, as expected, contestants pulled out all the stops in order to be the most extra with their throwdowns.

This year, John Collins of the Atlanta Hawks, Hamidou Diallo from Oklahoma City Thunder, Dennis Smith Jr. from the New York Knicks, and the Hornets' Miles Bridges were the players gunning for the top spot, bringing out other celebs and props to help them in their quest to win.

Despite Smith Jr. roping in rapper J. Cole to assist his shot, it was Diallo who went home with the trophy. The athlete leapt over Shaquille O'Neal — he's seven foot tall, FYI — to dunk, and then revealed a Superman "S" shirt underneath his kit as he dangled from the hoop.

Watch them all in action via the video up top.
