For us, dropping temperatures isn't our cue to hibernate; it's a time to lace up and explore the great outdoors. Whether it's about recharging your mind, body, and spirit or just capturing some breathtaking content for the 'Gram, there's nothing like being in nature in the winter.

But before you step out for that invigorating hike, you're going to want to do a quick check to make sure your outdoor gear measures up. Fortunately, we did the homework for you and discovered New Balance All Terrain. The all-new collection features footwear and outdoors-wear made with careful attention to technology, fit, and fabric.

The drop began with two footwear silhouettes: the 850AT and the Hierro v5. The 850AT is a trail-inspired kick that's equally at home off the beaten path as it is on the cold city streets. Key features include Fresh Foam cushioning, a Vibram outsole, and nylon webbing details. The Hierro v5 is for trail runners, featuring a Vibram MegaGrip outsole for superior traction and a TPU-coated upper that helps keep debris out of your shoes.

To experience New Balance's All Terrain collection for ourselves, we journeyed to upstate New York. Scroll down for a closer look and visit NewBalance.com for more.
