Double Tap to Zoom

They say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But they never said anything about adding Cordura to the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 sneaker. So, Nike made it so.

Nike's latest dadcore sneaker comes swaddled in Cordura fabric, which basically makes the shoe as tough as military gear and heavy-duty bags. With this new army-level muscle, the Vomeros can handle hard wear and last much longer than a normal pair, which is great.

Plus, it looks good. Nike gave the toughened sneaker a nice "Camo Green" colorway, which is not only stylish but speaks directly to its new rugged personality.

Honestly, Nike has pushed several Cordura sneakers that look as good as they function, including Air Max Plus and Air Max Moto 2K sneakers. It has also designed some other Cordura-backed Vomeros in "Light Orewood Brown" and "College Grey" schemes.

The "Camo Green" Cordura sneakers are really just another beauty for the collection.

Nike's green Zoom Vomero 5 Cordura sneakers aren't available just yet. But they are expected to drop soon on Nike's website, joining the plethora of other rugged Swoosh shoes for the season.
