Marathons have never just been about running. This feat of human achievement goes so much deeper than physical exercise: it’s unbridled emotion, meditation, therapy, success, and so much more. That’s why marathon weekends deserve a bit of celebration, too. From September 18–21, New Balance celebrates the best parts of Berlin’s running community for a stacked weekend of events.

The New Balance Clubhouse Kiosk amounts to the world’s best running clubhouse—and the central hub for Berlin’s running communities in the lead-up to marathon week. More than a branded space, the Kiosk is a platform where diverse crews come together, organize their own runs, and express themselves freely. In keeping with Berlin’s unmistakable industrial aesthetic, the pop-up blends classic Berlin architecture with power of the city's running community.

Building on the strong resonance the Clubhouse Kiosk generated last year, this second iteration expands the concept even further. Now more than ever, what brings runners together is at the heart of the Berlin running community by hosting a number of runs with local run groups, and championing a platform that brings out the best parts of the communities from around running. It’s a space where people can connect, move, and shape their own experience.

Berlin’s running culture has grown into one of the most exciting movements in Europe, fueled by crews and clubs that see running as more than sport. At the heart of this energy are groups like bpm and LOAD, who embody the city’s diverse take on what running can mean.

bpm isn’t a traditional run club, but a crew of friends who connect beyond exercise. Their ethos is simple: it’s not about comparison, but about what matters to them. Whether on the streets or beyond them, bpm treats running as an extension of culture, values, and friendship—proving that pace isn’t the only measure of progress.

Meanwhile, LOAD Berlin embraces the motto #SlowButSteady, inviting newcomers and veterans alike to join their weekly runs and explore the city at their own rhythm. As a cornerstone of Berlin’s inclusive running scene, they now team up with bpm to bring the New Balance Kiosk to life—a starting point, gathering place, and celebration hub. In the lead-up to another memorable marathon weekend, the Kiosk becomes more than a pop-up: it’s a cultural anchor for why we run—to connect, to share, to grow, and to move forward, one stride at a time.

As the city builds up for another memorable marathon weekend, the New Balance Clubhouse Kiosk provides the space to meet, relax, celebrate—and, if you’ve got the tea, make a confession or two.
