Who knew such a tech'd-up dad shoe could ever look so delicious? New Balance did.

The brand's 1906R is back with a flavorful colorway aptly named "Creamsicle." It's also known as "Tangerine Heat."

Both names work for the technical dad sneaker, which is equal parts hot and sweet.

As far as construction goes, New Balance covers the 1906R model in its usual materials, shiny leather layered over diamond-patterned mesh realized in citrusy orange shades.

New Balance even gives the sneaker the classic ice cream center, decking it out with vanilla-colored interiors. It also offers some more cream-white moments near the heel and on the tech-supported soles.

The 1906R sneaker is bringing the heat during the warmer seasons. So far, the Spring/Summer 2026 menu offers many flavors, from trail-style treats to other pairs exploding with color (and alien energy).
